The thing that always kind of bugged me about White Noise was the dialogue. I mean, I’m all for characters displaying their intelligence through conversation, I’m all for the temporary suspension of disbelief when fictional characters speak. But whenever I read the people in this book talk to each other (especially the sisters), I’m always like, “C’mon, B. People don’t really finish each other’s thoughts like that.”
I’m kind of being nitpicky though, because the writing was still very excellent.
